Allerair
We use air purifiers and air filters to rid our homes of harmful elements and pollutants that can cause allergies. Air filters remove particles from the home environment and replace it with clean air. Manufacturers use different technologies to rid the air of pollutants and freshen the air that we breathe – with high efficiency particle arresting, or HEPA technology being among the favored ways of achieving this. In fact many of the systems on the market today favor this technology. One of the respected manufacturers of air cleaners is Allerair.
Clean air systems or air purifiers use different types of technology and so there can be quite a difference between one system and another.Prices of air purifying systems can vary greatly and the system that you choose will depend on both your personal needs and your budget. Allerair systems are moderately priced systems and their technology is HEPA, carbon and UV based. The larger size filter area of Allerair systems means that more pollutants can be absorbed by the filter. The UV filter is useful for sterilizing the normal pollutants that are carried on the air in our homes.

Unlike some systems which are made of durable plastic Allerair uses an all metal baked enamel finish for its range of air purifying systems. Allerair’s use of both HEPA and activated carbon means that these systems are ideal in homes where there is someone suffering from allergies. In addition the use of UV means that the system is also active against mold providing it is used alongside some form of dehumidifying process.
The Allerair system works with a series of filters, this means that larger particles are trapped by a pre-filter which prevents the clogging of other filters (one of the minuses of many filter systems). The air is then drawn through a HEPA filter which removes almost one hundred percent of the smaller particles – before the air is recirculated it is passed through a germicidal filter to kill any remaining bacteria. Allerair is the only heavy duty air purifying system that also has a UV option. You should be aware that not all of the Allerair systems are exactly the same. While the system does have a series of filters, some of these filters are only available on particular models. For example the germicidal filter which is meant to eliminate pollen and spores is only available on the Air Medic 4000, 5000 and 6000 systems
